At the R/E, fine fare is the rule rather than the exception.
Whether it is the uncooked southern sushi (Siniard’s killdeer -- “you shoot it, you eat it!”), Sibley’s signature Duck Gumbo, Fred’s short lived tradition of Red Horse Suckers, or Ronita’s fried cornbread and chili, it’s all good...well, except for the killdeer.
One memorable meal featured a concoction so fine that it was not only named, but memorialized:
